After earning a degree in respiratory therapy from Middle Georgia State University in 2014, she entered one of the most challenging healthcare environments - Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta's renowned level 1 trauma facility. In that setting, DeAnn saw firsthand how specialized medical knowledge, coupled with a caring touch, could improve not only patient outcomes but also quality of life. While working with patients facing complex respiratory and chronic conditions, she recognized a recurring challenge - for many, returning home from the hospital brought new anxieties about safety, independence, and ongoing medical needs that traditional home care often could not fully address.
